Frank Sinatra: "Nice 'N' Easy"

Released in 1960,
this is a delicious collection of ballads
from The Voice.
(The TV show should have to pay royalties to the Sinatra family)

Honestly,
this album will carry you back to another time and place.
Almost enough to make you want to
light up a Chesterfield and pour yourself a glass of Jack Daniel's.

Frank Sinatra: "Greatest Hits, Volume 2"

This LP came to me without its jacket amongst a stash of records being discarded.
I rescued it, cleaned it up, and digitized its fabulous tunes.
Of course, I'm pretty sure this is all readily available on CD by now,
but what fun is that?

Here is the cover art, from Wikipedia:

Frank Sinatra: "Sinatra & Company"

The LP, released in 1971, contains some wonderful,
actually extra-ordinary
work from the King of the Crooners.
His collaboration with Antonio Carlos Jobim was not a routine occurrence.
For some interesting details, go HERE and follow the many links to the artists and songs.

Frank Sinatra: "In the Wee Small Hours"

With a career and catalog like Frank Sinatra's, it is pretty near impossible to settle on any one recording as "the best."  I'd have to say this recording, released in 1955, would certainly find its way to the top few of most reviewers and fans lists.

Not sure what I can say about Frankie - "Ol' Blue Eyes" - "The Chairman of the Board" - "King of the Crooners" - "The Voice" - Chief of "The Rat Pack."
Some say the best thing ever to come out of Hoboken.
If you do not already know and love (or at least appreciate) his talents, you've got a lot of reading, listening, and watching to do.  And trust me, you will enjoy every second of all of it.

A bit more detail about this album HERE.
