Barbra Streisand: "Lazy Afternoon"

Allright!
OK!
I confess!
I am (or at least used to be,
musically, anyway)
a Streisand fan.
So sue me.

Ya gotta love this album cover.
It could not possibly be MORE 1975,
which is of course when this LP was released.

Andrae Crouch: "Take Me Back"

Released in 1975, this was the sixth (6th) album by Andrae Crouch and the Disciples.
I was, am, and always will be a huge fan of Andrae Crouch.
His inimitable style, his songwriting, the heartfelt lyrics - we have a word for this: anointed.
The ensemble he put together was pure dynamite.
His work totally revolutionized gospel music.
And this album "Take Me Back" is one of my favorites.
Utterly fantastic.

I still can't believe I did it, but I sold this album to a collector in Japan.

Judy Collins: "Judith"

I don't care what anybody says. There are times when the mood just calls for a few Judy Collins tracks. Prove me wrong. If you don't consider "Send in the Clowns" a classic, it may be time for you to expand your musical horizons. Really. Release your inner melancholy.

This LP flew away to a devoted fan in Pennsylvania.

BeeGees: "Main Course"

OK. I guess one is either a BeeGees fan or not, but I suspect there are more than a few fans out there who just don't confess it publicly. This LP brought us "Jive Talkin'" and "Nights on Broadway" - serious precursors to the whole "Saturday Night Fever" phenom. And for good measure the album art is pretty durn fabulous deco.

This LP found a home in Tennessee.

Queen: "A Night at the Opera"

This was Queen's fourth studio LP, released in 1975. Contains the gigantic international sensation "Bohemian Rhapsody."

These pics were some of my first attempts at capturing album art.
I know. Not too great. But better than no pic at all, I reckon.

If I still had the album, I'd retake the pics. But this one now hangs out with a fan in Maryland.
