Benny Goodman: "The Great Benny Goodman"

Released in 1956,
this is a terrific compilation album,
part of Columbia's commemoration
of 25 years of recording Benny Goodman.

Among others, this recording also includes
Harry James, Gene Krupa, Teddy Wilson, and Lionel Hampton.

Stan Wilson: "Ballads & Calypso"

Released in 1956,
this was something like Stan Wilson's
third or fourth solo LP.

Unfortunately, I could not find any articles online
describing Stan Wilson's life and career.

Andre Kostelanetz: "The Very Thought of You"

Released in 1956,
this is something like his thirty-second (32nd) LP,
which was less than halfway into his eventual catalog.

Considered by many to be a primary force in the origins of "Easy Listening."

Released in 1956,
this was approximately his thirtieth (30th) studio LP
(depending on how one counts).

Much loved, mellow, jolly folk singer/songwriter/actor/author.

Judy Garland: "Judy"

OK. Time for a little break from the rock and pop.
Well, I guess in 1956 when this LP was released, Judy may still have qualified as "pop."  Sort of.
Anyway, this album is timeless and delicious.

Can't resist sharing the inner sleeve, too:

Really curious to know more about the album called "Teen Drums."

This LP went to a collector in Ohio.
