The Ventures: "JOY: The Ventures Play The Classics"

This was The Ventures' fortieth (40th) studio LP,
released in 1972.

If you are a Ventures fan,
there is pretty much no such thing as
too much of them.
Their special sauce adds a delicious flavor
to any style of music,
and this recording is no exception
to their exceptional talent.

Read more about life and times of The Ventures HERE.

Couldn't recover/discover the art/design credits, which is really too bad in this case because the illustrations are so great.

Wes Montgomery: "Goin' Out Of My Head"

Released in 1965, this was Wes Montgomery's twenty-eighth (28th) album.
He had more than 40 to his credit by the time he was taken by a heart attack in 1968.
Wes Montgomery was one of the greatest jazz guitarists of all time.  If you have not taken the time to give him a listen, you need to remedy that situation as soon as possible.
Really.

Various: "The Guitars That Destroyed the World"

Oddball though it is, this is a truly FANTASTIC album musically.  And the art, as you can see, is rather unique and strangely appealing.  The art is credited to "W. Weber."
The guitarists featured? Carlos Santana, Edgar Winter, Johnny Winter, Blue Oyster Cult, Spirit, John McLaughlin, Leslie West, Mountain, and the Mahavishnu Orchestra.
An amazing gem.
Released in 1973.

This LP went to an eager recipient in California.
