I WILL say

that up until recently

I would have easily assumed

that EVERYONE knows about

and has listened to

Simon and Garfunkel

ESPECIALLY

"Sounds of Silence."

However,

my assumptions were severely challenged when,

while watching a popular "reality show"

it was revealed that there were contestants -

musicians, mind you -

who had NEVER HEARD

ANY recordings of

THE BEATLES.
